Wiid is a registered chartered accountant and holds a Bachelor of Honours in Accounting.  Starting as a junior auditor in 2008, he simultaneously completed his SAICA articles while working his way up to eventually become a partner at Gerber, Botha & Gowar Accountants in 2013.

Specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and financial modelling, Wiid has positioned himself through his qualifications and experience to make a substantial contribution to the success of any company or organisation.

In 2017, he joined the Moti Group of Companies, and he currently heads up the Mergers and Acquisitions division.
